AANP2017

Published

Hello, I just took my AANP FNP exam and I failed for second time this year in 2017! It was one of the sad days in my life when I found out. I was excellent student in school, I been cardiac nurse over 7 years. I studied Leik book over three times over and over. I did APEA review both live and online. I did thousand of practice questions. I also did Fitzgerald online review and read her book as well. Every time i did the practice questions, I was getting higher score so felt ready to take the exam each time. I felt like the test is getting harder each time or I don't know if its me. I had imaging also on my test twice. After all I am asking if anyone can help with different method of studying and also I am open for group study if anyone wanted to do that. I am planning to apply for ANCC as well but I need to study more on the none clinical area since the test is different from AANP. I thank you anyone with help in advance!

I'm sorry you failed. I too just took my exam two days ago and failed. I have spent five months studying, every day and every night. The test was rediculous! I did the Fitzgerald live review, Leik intense review book, Exam Edge, endless exam questions online and books. I felt prepared except in a couple of areas (immunizations and antibiotics). The questions on the test were NOTHING like in the books. I passed all my predictor exams. Even getting an 88% on the PSI exam. My scores were increasing for every exam I took. My email address is [email protected] if anyone has ideas or if you would like to do a study session. I don't know how we would go about doing that online, but I am willing to do anything at this point!!!

I am open for a group study, exchanging notes etc.
