AACC Spring 2012 hopefuls?

Hello fellow MD nurses!

I'm just looking to see if there are any prospective Spring 2012 students at AACC? I'm finishing up A&P2 this summer and will be putting my application in in the fall. Anyone take the TEAS yet? Any advice? I'll probably take mine in August when I'm done with classes so I can focus on studying for that as opposed to my other classes.

I have an iPhone, too, and will probably be using it. I'd recommend an iPhone- but wait until the new model comes out (should be out in the next month).

As for the "no service" thing other than Verizon- FLRS should be part of the AACC WiFi- and you can use WiFi with your iPhone. Also, I have AT&T and I've never had a problem getting service in FLRS- but the only class I had there was on the 2nd floor. Maybe that makes a difference?

I have AT&T to and I never had a problem in FLRS. I took both my AP's in the room right by the stairwell on the 2nd floor and I always got service there and throughout the building. I guess I have the perfect excuse to get an iPhone now;)

I have an Iphone with AT&T too and have never had a problem in the FLRS building.

I like that!! I'm already saving up for the books we will have to buy. Looks like I'll be asking for medical books for Christmas this year!!

Well even though Sprint is coming out with the Iphone I don't think I will upgrade to that. Sprint sucks really bad on campus. And I live on Fort Meade and my service sucks there really bad as well. I may have to just cancel my service with Sprint and go with someone else.

If you decide to go with AT&T, let me know. My brother in law is a district manager for AT&T portables. I might not be able to hook you up with a good deal, but he'll do what he can to take care of you. One of his stores is in Arundel Mills. He won't be able to cut you a deal on the phone itself, but he might be able to get you a decent deal on a monthly plan.

Can anyone recommend a good smartphone? I have the old blackberry and I guess its time for me to upgrade since we can carry them to clinicals.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have decided to get the IPHONE but I am still going to miss old faithful (my blackberry) :crying2: however, I must move on.

I'm sure we'll find out in orientation but I'm so anxious about everything, haha. What color are our scrubs and where do we get them?

All the scrubs are white:/ but we get them through school theres a day where we get sized and all im sure they'll tell us more at orientation:)
