Has anyone received their conditional acceptance for the Fall 2017 ADN course? If so, when did you submit your application and how long did it take to hear back from them?

Thanks in advance :)

I actually doing the traditional. I decided to do bio 233/234 so I wouldn't have to take them later for my BSN:) will we get a list of what we will need in April? Did anyone receive a reply to the accept email we had to send ?

No I didn't get a reply to the accept email but I'm sure we can use that as proof we replied within the 7 days if they happen to question it later. I'm transferring to Stevenson to get my BSN and they take either 231/232 or 233/234. The packet they mail out in April will outline all we need do to receive the final acceptance.

I received my acceptance email as well last week :) Good luck to you ladies on your prereqs!

Teebaby,

Are you planning on doing the consortium program and taking the classes at AACC or taking them on the Stevenson campus? I am interested in the consortium program but haven''t researched the requirements yet.

CONGRATS tm812!

I didn't know they had a consortium program and I planned to take the courses at Stevenson after completing my ADN program. Now that i know they have one, I think I will do that program at AACC instead.

I did look over the requirements in detail for the online RN-to-BSN program at Stevenson. It was pretty straightforward. You will need several Humanities courses, Art, a Basic Chemistry(no lab required), and a Communication course before actually being admitted to the RN-to-BSN program.

There is actually a accelerated BSN course that Stevenson offers! AACC and Stevenson actually have a contract that you can complete BSN courses the second year of your nursing school. You'll still graduate within the 2 years of nursing school but you'll get your bachelors in the same time. An AACC transfer advisor told me that! I just got pushed up to fall 2017! We have a great semester ahead of us!

Just received my information packet in the mail today!! So exciting :) Looks like there is no longer a face to face or hybrid option. Now everything is mixed together! I am so looking forward to orientation!!!

I got mine in the mail today! But I am waitlisted but all waitlist people get in :)

Yay! That's awesome :)

Hi. I applied in August. I called last Friday to see where I am in the que and found out I will be starting this Fall, 2017. So excited!! I am doing the traditional program because it has a higher success rate. I currently work as a CNA full time so I will be sad to have to drop my hours to part time, but I know it will be worth it in the end. I can't wait to start and meet everyone!!

I know this is an old post. Hope everyone did well fall semester. I dropped off my Fall 2018 app and taking Micro and AP2 in spring. Happy Holidays!
