Has anyone received their conditional acceptance for the Fall 2017 ADN course? If so, when did you submit your application and how long did it take to hear back from them?

Thanks in advance :)

I submitted my application on the 15th and they emailed me Tuesday (the 19th) with some information about the selection process and said they are currently filling the Fall 2017 spots. I haven't received my conditional acceptance yet but checking everyday. When did you submit your application?

My friend applied last summer and she said it took about a month to get the email, but be prepared to possibly start the semester prior. They will call people up to 24 hours before the semester starts if a spot opens up last minute.

Hello tm812. I applied the end of June and receive the email stating they have received my application and that they are currently filling the Fall 2017 slots. Maybe I'm being a little impatient lol I hope I get into an earlier session but I know that's probably unlikely.

I received my conditional acceptance for Fall 2017 today. I know it's still a year away however I am still UBER excited .

Yay! That's so exciting :) I hope I get mine within the next two weeks as well. Are you going to try and do the traditional or hybrid program?

tm812 - thanks. :) I'm going for the hybrid program. Which program are you going for?

I am still on the fence but strongly leaning towards hybrid. I have a little one and it would be much easier to do classes and clinical on nights and weekends when my husband is home to take care of her.

I agree. I think you should go for the hybrid program as well. At least we will know someone before the classes start. lol

Have you completed all of your pre-req courses? I only have 3 left so I'm taking Bio 2 and Stat this Fall and Micro in the Spring. That way I only have the nursing classes to focus on.

Yup I actually finished all the bios last fall and I just finished stats over the summer. I've heard the nursing classes are hard enough without having to worry about things like microbiology! lol

If you have a chance to take James Messenger for stats he was great! He makes the concepts really easy to understand and you don't have to read the book to get them (that book made it all seem so complicated). And Jill Loukides was awesome for microbiology, she was a little strict in lab but a good/fair teacher.

I've heard that Messenger was a great teacher however he is only teaching it online this semester. Do you think he is easy enough to take him online? I'm scheduled for the computer intensive Saturday course but the instructor is TBA. Thanks for the advice on who to take for Micro. I'll definitely take her if she is teaching a course that fits around my work schedule.

I've heard the same about the nursing courses and that's why I want these last 3 courses out of the way before starting. lol

Hi y'all, I received my conditional acceptance aug 3rd! I'm so excited even though we still have a year. I am taking A&p this fall

Congrats Akindall! I'm excited as well. I'm taking Human Bio 2 and Stats this fall. Are you going for the traditional program or the hybrid? I'm going for the hybrid program because it will allow me to keep my job.
