Terrific tribute. Would like to have seen more Nurses represented even though the profession is only 6-10% male (depending on which survey is the reference). After all, the very first nurses were male!

Nursing as a recognized profession started with Florence. Since she predominately taught females, nursing became known as a female profession. Though much has changed, it is still predominately female nurses that do bedside care.
