A sense of accomplishment

Being a Nursing student can be daunting. Hours and hours of studying are the norm. Soon though, we will be a Nurse and all the hard work will be worth it. It brings a smile to our face just thinking about it and others may not only see just how determined we are, but that we are genuinely happy to take on the responsibilities of studying. Besides, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile, right? (o.k., I know I read that in one of my texts somewhere) ...

Love this! I'm not a nursing student yet...but next year I will be and it seems like everyone is always talking about how stressful it is. Definitely puts things into perspective.

Yes, nothing tears down and builds up one's sense of self quite like nursing school. I love that I got into something that actively supports and requires lifelong learning!

Can't believe I missed this one! Reminiscent of my kids when I was in nursing school, teaching them the stuff I was learning because if I could teach them, it meant I knew it. Those little monkeys know more about the body than most adults, and it was the one way I could make sure they got mama time when I felt "too busy" to focus on them as much as I wanted.

Ahhhh, Brian..... This one makes me sentimental. :)

Then when they become a nurse they turn into people haters who spend their time here patient bashing.
