A+P online coures?

Well I was set on Dutchess Community (where I just graduated with an AS in General Studies) BUT they don't require an extrance exam so there are over 900 Nursing students and about 50 spots so you do the math. If I go part time, I will be looking at ten years before I can work, HAHA.

SO I spoke to the head of Westchester Community College in Valhalla and her advice was to get my pre req's finished, take and pass the TEAS and I MAY be able to start this Fall. I am not hopeful though, that sounded almost too good to be true. So I am shooting for Fall 2010 to start the Nursing courses. But who knows may be sooner.

I chose them because I would love to get into Peds...I believe they do their clinicals at Westchester Medical and that is a VERY good childrens's hospital, they saved my sons life and treated my whole family like we were their own. I would love to work there one day.

Also WCC has an evening/weekend program which is perfect for me. I can still stay home Monday-Thursday with my son, and hubby watches him on his days off on the weekend. Doesn't get much better than that!!

Is EC Excelsior College is that what you are refering too? I thought of that, but I have no hands on training in the nursing field. I was the DON'sassistant, but I sat at the desk all day. I need to actually get my hands on it all :)
