A/P I and II

Published

Is anyone taking A/P 1 and 2 at the same time? I have to take them both this spring semester and I'm not sure what I'm up against. :eek:

You are a mightly brave soul. Both are very difficult. I could not do it. Are you working? Have children? This is two classes that are going to take up ALOT of your time and energy.

Hope this helps:twocents::clown:

I am not working, but I do have two kids. My husband works twelve hour shifts (3 days on two days off sorta schedule), so I can't count on him to always be there. These are the only classes I will be taking this spring semester. I have to take them at the same time so I finish all the required classes to apply to the nursing program.

I mainly worry that there will be information learned in A/P I that is needed in A/P II. I suppose I shouldn't worry too much because if that were the case, then they would make A/P I a prereq for A/P II and not allow me to take them at the same time.

Good luck. Those are both pretty intensive classes. They will both require a lot of work and study time. Do you have to have all your prereqs done to apply or can you apply still needing 1 class? What is the decision criteria? If it is based on grades in the classes, I would suggest just taking 1 and getting the A, then take take the other.

Good Luck whatever you decide.

There are a few courses that have to be completed before being accepted into the program. The only ones I have left are A/P 1/2. I normally wouldn't have chosen to take them at once, but the decision to apply for next term was made very quickly. Since there are kids/daycare and money involved, I have to be accepted this time, or I will not be able to try again till my kids are in school (they are 3 and 1). The selection is based off a points system. If everyone has 100 points, then they will do a lottery. If I get at least a B in both of these courses, I will have 100 points. The school has not had to do the lottery with the 100 point applicants as of yet, so my chances of being accepted are high.

It can be done, just a lot of work. Good luck and I hope you do well in both classes. Good luck with your application too. I am applying in January and will have everything done, so I am optimistic. :wink2:

Thanks :) Good luck to you too!
