My a and p teacher is expecting us to know all of the material covered in all the chapters, no study guides, hints on whats going to be on tests, etc. Is that normal? Thats alot to study! Im at a C. I dont know how I'll ever get into a RN program with a C. I would love to pick my grade up, but dont know if its possible. ( I got a B in a and p 1).

Does your textbook have helps at its site? Might want to check. Mine has review and practice tests -- really helps me! You can also use the internet. Are you in a study group w/ some fellow students? Quizzing each other and sharing info is great.

Good luck!

No handouts or powepoints?

My A&P 1 class had powerpoints but there were still questions asked that were not on ther powerpoints, you just had to read the book and pray you study the right material. Its frustrating isnt it? My Microbiology class was handwritten notes and again, just hoping you rememberd the right stuff from the book.

In my A&P classes we had power points, but we were still expected to know everything from the book. Go through the chapters and find the most important parts, or those that seem important. Reading through each chapter will help, also. It's time consuming... but it's worth it.

Thanks.

We do get slides. We must know what professor says in lecutre AND what is all that is written in the book for those chapters we are working on! How is it possible to memorize numerous chapters of that Marieb book???:uhoh3:

Sounds normal sad to say. All I ever got was a powerpoint that summed up the chapters, but you literally had to know EveryTHING on those slides, because you never knew what would be on the test. It's a drag, and I used to study for A&P 1 & 2 for 2-4 hours, daily.
