A lot

Hi, this is something that really bugs me. All of us are either nurses or working on it. Yet all of the time I see "alot" in the post here instead of "a lot". It's two words. With our education we should know this. But don't be fooled, I used to write it as "alot" too. :chuckle

But do understand the inability to spell has nothing to do with intelligence, or even facility with the English language. I worked with one of the most brilliant producers ever -- could write an eloquent script that was so mispelled you would think it was another language. That part of his brain just didn't work.

Where? I ain't seen notin wrong with um saying "use to" when it's of the past. Got me :rotfl:
