Members are discussing the number of Select All That Apply (SATA) questions they received during their NCLEX exams. Some believe that having a high number of SATA questions is a good sign, indicating a higher level of difficulty and potentially a passing result. Others caution against relying solely on the presence of SATA questions as an indicator of success, emphasizing that the test is random and the questions can vary in difficulty regardless of type. Additionally, members share tips for preparing for the exam and interpreting the results.
Okay, okay, okay! Let me get this straight, is it true if you get a lot of select all that apply questions on the nclex that means you're passing? Because I been hearing a lot of people say it's a good sign. When I think about it, I have a friend who only got 4 sata questions and she failed. Then I got another friend who got about 10 she passed. Is this myth true? How many of you failed the Nclex and only gotten a few sata questions? ? How many passed and gotten a lot of sata questions? ?Or did you fail and still get a lot of sata questions? Or who passed and only gotten a few? Let's take a poll on this one. Write back with your responds.

I'm sorry you dragged up a years-old thread....LOTS of bad info here! SATA questions do NOT mean ANYTHING other than you got a SATA question. They can be below-passing-standard questions just as easily as above-passing standard questions.
They are neither a good sign nor a bad sign. They might be pilot questions (they don't count) or they might be scored. They might comprise a majority of your test, or barely any.
You will fail with a lot of SATA questions. You will pass with a lot of SATA questions.
But since the last activity on this was TWO YEARS ago......let's hope we can put the myth to rest?
