I found this on face book. Is there a problem if I copy & paste as long as I show who wrote it?

Johnnys wife, Judy, had been after him for several weeks to varnish the wooden seat on there toilet. Finally, he got around to doing it while Judy was out. After finishing, he left to take care of another matter before she returned.

She came home and undressed to take a shower. Before getting in the shower, she sat on the toilet. As she tried to stand up, she realized that the not-quite-dry epoxy paint had glued her to the toilet seat.

About that time, Johnny got home and realized her predicament. They both pushed and pulled without any success whatsoever. Finally, in desperation, Johnny undid the toilet seat bolts.

Judy wrapped a sheet around herself and he drove her to the hospital emergency room.

The ER Doctor got her into a position where he could study how to free her (Try to get a mental picture of this.)

Judy tried to lighten the embarrassment of it all by saying, "Well, Doctor, I'll bet you've never seen anything like this before."

The Doctor replied, "Actually, I've seen lots of them I just have never seen one mounted and framed."

Not from facebook, but a humorous item which I'll bet hardly any of us ever knew:

"Former President Gerald Ford -- who was born Leslie Lynch King Jr -- was a professional model and actually appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine."

What I wonder is...how do you get from 'Leslie Lynch King Jr' to 'Gerald Ford?' That's quite a switch of names with a backstory that I'd really like to know! Also, what did he look like in his young, modeling days?

President Gerald R. Ford was the son of Leslie Lynch King and his wife Dorothy Ayer Gardner, who divorced soon after the birth of their only child. Their son was known as Leslie Lynch King, Jr., until his mother married Gerald R. Ford, Sr. in 1916, after which he went by the name Gerald R. Ford, Jr.

Not sure how or why you find this humorous.

Gosh, I'm not trying to be insulting. It amused me because Gerald Ford, when he was the President, was rather well-known for being clumsy. That's all.
