A Day in the life of a Nurse

I am a current Nurse Assistant at a Nursing home/rehab. I am in school to be a nurse. I have not yet started clincal's yet. I want to know what is the day to day tasks of a nurse. This is a Day in the life of a CNA to show what i mean by i want to know what you do as a RN.

I would greatly appreciate it if a RN took out the time to respond back. I want to know so badly what it is like to be a RN. I do not feel clinical's will really show me what its like to have a assignment. When i did the clinical for CNA i only had 2 people to do it was nothing like the real world. thank you so much it will be greatly appreciated.

Example: As a CNA i walk into work at 7am I pick up my assignment sheet of 10 residents 2 of which the Night staff did ADL's on. I have a list of showers, physical therapy, hair dresser appts ,dentist appts ect that i look at to determine what time to get each of my 8 residents up by. I Have from 7am and 8am to pass out my linen and to get about 3 residents up and dresed. At 8 am I go into the dinning room and transfer the breakfast trays from the dinning room cart to the hallway cart. I then bring the cart out to the hallway where 3 of my co workers meet me to boost up residents in there beds and pass out trays. Really it ends up only being me and another cna boosting up and passing out trays to the residents.idk wher the rest of them hide off to. After the trays are past about 4 residents need to be fed we all go feed a resident and then go and pick up the trays which are finished. If a call bell rings during breakfast the "circulator" of the day toilets the residents that ring during breakfast. After breakfast which ends around 9:10 we have morning report on our residents untill about 9:30. I then take a 10 minute break and finish my 5 residents ADL's that are left to do while also toileting the residents that need to use the restroom before there lunch. There Lunch starts at 11:40 and ends at 1pm. I pass out trays in the dinning room and set them up for lunch then feed 2 residents at a time. At 12:30 i take a 30 min lunch break. From 1pm-3pm I am toileting all 10 of my residents and walking the ones on a walking program. After all that i sit down and do my paper work and I am out the door. I know this was very long! But i would like someone to give me a idea of what a day in the life of a RN is like. I used a day in the life of a cna as a example.
