Hi To Everyone,
I'd like the opinion / in put from other nurses relating to a choice I need to soon make.
I'm presently working as a psychiatric RN, and want to specialize in psychiatric nursing , psychiatric CNP or PNP perhaps.
I'm wondering which route would be the quickest and most cost
efficient program.
A BSN to MSN bridge program, or RN to BSN, than BSN to MSN ?

Do you mean ADN to MSN bridge vs going from ADN to BSN to MSN?
Going RN to MSN allows you to not repeat courses such as pathophys., pharm. and research, but jump to the Masters level of these courses. So the quickest, most cost effective way if you know without a doubt you want the Masters is to go ADN to MSN.
Good luck!

If I had to do it again, I would have done the ADN to MSN. However, for me, at the time, that wasn't possible.
