You guys gave some great advice regarding the dev psych textbook. Now I have a similar concern with my A&P text and workbook. We use the same one for both 1 and 2. Do you think these books will be ones I should keep throughout the nursing program for reference, and are ok to write and highlight in? Or do I keep them as pristine as possible for resale?
Any input is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

The content of an A&P book is not going to change from year to year, or edition to edition. In my experience, I am able to sell my "like new" textbooks for a nice sum, and then use those profits towards next semester's books (and sometimes I will pick up an older edition of the sold book just to keep as reference).
Perhaps you can sell your A&P book and pick up an older copy for $10 after you have completed the class?
So to answer your question, yes you should keep an A&P book, be in the one that you have or another older, cheaper edition.

I agree. Obtain an older copy for highlight/keeping, and keep the "good" one to resell. I took A&P last summer and now during regular classes I find it an excellent reference tool.
