I am very new to the field of nursing. I have a prior bachelor's degree. However, I have recently made up my mind in pursuing Nursing, and aiming to get into an accelerated BSN program in fall 2011. In order to do that, I need to finish my pre-reqs, and I have been unable to get into an Anatomy & Physiology class that would not conflict with my work schedule.
Recently, a friend of mine suggested to take the Anatomy and Physiology class via Ocean county community college that offers the class online along with the lab requirement. I have never seen a lab class being offered online, so I would really appreciate if someone who has taken this class can clarify the following things for me:
1. Is this class legitimate? Does it satisfy the requirement of having an A & P class with a lab?
2. Which schools accept these classes?
To me, it kind of sounds like 'too good to be true' because I am not very sure how an online lab class would work. Although, it would be great if I can take the class online because I would be able to finish my requirements on time by this process. I will be looking forward to hear about your experiences, and any advice regarding online pre-req classes will be great!
