A&P II Winter/Spring '08

Published

Since I see the sticky already for A&P 1, why not start one for A&P II?

I'll be starting January 7th. :)

I went to her page at Cochise. She also has MICROBIOLOGY podcasts. I'm going to listen to 'em and watch her powerpoints before I take Micro this summer. Here's the page: http://skywalker.cochise.edu/ilinc/bio205henrickson/

LoriS thank you very much. The fun thing is that I know this website, but I totaly forgot about it!:smackingf

You're welcome! Some profs have the most amazing webpages. I bow to them! :bowingpur

Gee, I can't imagine why a *nursing student*, pre- or otherwise, would forget about something like a website! It couldn't be because you're constantly trying to stuff more stuff into your over-stuffed brain and some stuff's gotta go, now could it? :lol2:

Glad I could refresh your memory.

nursic, you can also check out the website for Tortora's A&P textbook. It has all kinds of quizzes on it (some are pretty tough), and you don't need an access code to do most of the activities. Here's the link to the endocrine chapter:

Good luck Monday!

Hello:

I just joined today and saw a copy of your A&P II notes, how do I get them. Not too good on the computer. Thanks for your time

Wow, I just completed the most difficult week of school I think I have ever experienced. Due to an incredibly frustrating A&P 1 lab teacher last Fall, I am currently taking my A&P 1 lab along with A&P 2 lecture and lab. I had both the midterms last week, and I am still trying to catch up on sleep.

I hope everyone else is plugging along!

The semester is half-way over!! Woohoo!! :yeah:

i'm not doing as well as i would like to, or usually do in school for that matter!!!:cry::cry:

it's all of the cellular level stuff, with the chemicals and such...ugh!! maybe i'm not supposed to be a nurse after all!:o

We had our test on the respiratory and digestive systems last night. I studied my brains out for this test, and I felt ok about it when I walked out of there, but that's never the most accurate gauge of how I do. :p

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to cram massive amounts of information into my brain and keep it there for exams. When I got home and started looking stuff up in my book I know I have missed at least 4 questions, and probably more, so I probably did about the same as always. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, or not doing, or whatever. I guess I shouldn't be too upset, because I score above the class average, but before I took the anatomy series I had a 4.0 and last quarter I got a 3.5 and I'm struggling to get the same grade in the second quarter.

Since our program is so competitive, it's massively stressful isn't it? Ah well, the quarter is nearing its end, and I know I'll survive. We all will! :)
