A&P II Summer 2010

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I have to take A&P II this summer so that I can progress into the nursing classes in the fall...and I was planning on taking it at my local community college, but when I went to register today, I found that the class is full. So now I have to figure out where I'm going to take it. I can take it at my college as a 5 week evening course. This would require me to live on campus for 5 weeks of the summer because commuting just wouldn't make any sense. I could also take it at the community college up by my college. That is a 9 week option, 2 nights a week so I could commute. Which would be better?

Specializes in None, but plan to be well trained in all.

Did you ask your friend what her mother said to get her in the class? Maybe she can help you out with getting in:idea:

I did ask...and she didn't know. She said that she would ask, but I don't know when she will...

So apparently her mom just called at the opportune moment because there was an opening since someone had dropped.

Ugh.

But as of right now, it looks like I'll be taking the class online through another CC. The professor has GREAT reviews on RateMyProfessors.com, of both her classroom stuff and her online stuff...and that would be better than having to spend 2 hours driving there each day...

Have you considered taking it online if your college accepts it? EduKan's are $500 (plus books), so it might save you time and gas.

Um...if you read my last post, you would have seen that it looks like I'm gonna do it online through another CC (gotta love being in NY and having the SUNY system! It makes it easy to know which class is what).
