A&P help anyone?

Published

I've just found out my hospital is thinking about getting rid of LPNs. I started with Excelsior 5 years ago then quit. Now I'm back at it and trying to muddle through A&P. Any suggestions? I've got StudyGroup101 downloaded on my puter. Anything else I should use? thanks

I am studying for A&P also! I have all my old study materials from when I took A&P last, A&P for Dummies and also using SG101 and my old coloring book. I plan to get the EC practice exams also.... hoping to schedule this one for the beginning of January but it seems like SOOO much material!!! I am going to have to look into that vangonotes.com, thanks Tasha :-)

The vangonotes are good.

I too, am attempting A&P (have been studying for about 3 months), it just doesn't seem to be sticking in my brain. I have been using TCN learning module, Cliffs Notes A&P, A&P coloring book, my old book from my LPN classes, and SG 101 and nothing is helping. I took the EC practices tests and did poorly on both. Thinking of trying vangonotes or 3300 plus questions - it's very overwhelming.

one tip though, the quesitons are not cut and dry like "the deltoid is located where?" it is more set up llike nclex style questions and critical thinking kinda like" if the pH is 7.45, and the WBC is blah blah blah" you have to use some critical thinking with this exam.
