Hello everyone!

I was looking at yet some more programs in my area when I noticed that one school offers both Associate of Applied Sciences and Associate of Science degrees. Is one better than the other? I don't really know the difference between the two. Is it easier to get hired with one more than the other? What did you get?

Thank you in advance for your help!

No significance whatsoever. Just compare the course differences, which will be listed, and go the route that suits you. For example: if one gives you the option of taking three free electives versus the other, which requires, two upper division humanities, go with the one that you prefer. Free electives or do you love humanities? Up to you. But employers couldn't care less, they are interested in your license.

Really? Alright then! Thank you very much! I was freaking out there...

If you are ever going to be interested in a BSN, look and compare the different programs... some of the courses may transfer better than the others. I have AAS seeking a BSN and don't anticipate any problems but we'll see.
