should i or should i not

I know we cant ask for legal advice but this is more nurse advice i guess. im sure someone will tell me. I am not sure how aggressively I want to persue this.

in july i was terminated, i am sure some of you have read my previous post on this issue. I was refused to cash in my pto, it says in the policy if your terminated you lose it. I found out from a previous nurse that was terminated from my floor they let her turn in a letter of resignation in leui of termination so she could collect her pto. Well when i asked about it i was told no. I even talked to the hr director and she said they changed the policy shortly after that. Well about a month ago a friend of mine that was still working there called me and said she no longer worked there, they were placing her on admin leave with rec for term. and she said she didn't want to go thru that so she would just quit so she could collect her pto. This is the exact same thing they refused to let me do. now her pto was only 50 hrs and mine was 270 but i wonder what kind of things they might come up with as an arguement and if its worth it to fight it. Any suggestions or real life exp with this type of thing. IF i was to fight it would they make up some crap to turn me into the board for and stuff like that.

This just isn't something we can answer...you may need to consult with a lawyer.
