why why

why does it feel like the more I test myself the worse I do???this past month I have sat home doing prep for my PN,I did good with Hesi in school all in the 700-900's,I am doing saunders CD 3rd and Prentice Hall book{which I never see mentioned on these forums} and CD,and just pulled out my Hesi book and disk,I keep scoring in the low 60's!!except with saunders if I do the 10 at a time I score 80's??What the heck????I am taking my test next month and now I really am getting scared almost sick thinking did I loose what I learned all year!!did I not learn enough??ughh:banghead:

If you feel like that maybe take a day off, give your brain a rest

Sounds more like you need a break. Take a day or two off and focus on you, then come back to the books. Good luck.

Sounds like you're squeezing the bar of soap too hard and you can't hang on anymore. I too would recommend a breather, some quiet time away from your studies. It's quite possible you're freaking yourself out. (something I've done myself). Don't be so hard on yourself; you will pass and be just fine! :loveya:

:saint:wow I thought am alone.I had the same problem.I had to stay a way from studying for couple days and its really helping me now and am not studying much like I use to but I make sure that I study lit bit even 50q/day and its realy help me.I found out that i was overstuding and never give time to digeste what I have study before.Am using soundre's book 4th ed and am about to finish.

so should I go get saunders 4th edition or just keep doing my 3ed cd and my prentice hall??

Are you testing 4 LPN or RN? Because the Saunders 4th edition is good for RN. Everyone says Saunders 3rd edition is good 4 LPN!

I agree with you,also we have to remember sounders 4th ed has addition of 200 question.so is not realy much different.:)+
