Sorry, but no. Average wait of time is ten days........not three days. And it is holiday season. CA reviews all completed files by human input, not computer..........

suzzanne is right. CA usually takes at least 10 days to release their results....be positive, whatever the result is. Exam is always by luck, although you have to work hard and review hard to ace it, everyone who takes the test doesnt know what questions they will have until the test is done:P always remember that there will always be next time and that is after 45 days:P -->according to the letter nsbn sent me ... always remember that you have done your best... like what i always think hehhehe...

waiting is killing me............and i hate my mailbox...every time when i think about my result,everything turns black in front of my eyes and i feel like i am falling down,,,,what ever i do to change my mind .....no success.....i feel like i can't even hold a cup.....no energy....i am kind of sleepwalking.....that how i feel.....and its killing me...........what should i do??????????????/:smokin: :scrying: :stone

the waiting game is always the hardest game. pls try not to wait. cuz if you do, a minute will become hours and hours to days... u loose your energy, u will lack in concentration, u will have tacchycardia, perspiration, then hallucination and....well, :lol2: what you do is close your eyes, take a deep breath... say a lil prayer. avoid looking at your mailbox. the more you stare at it the more anxious you will become. call your friends. go out. eat at your fave resto, play games (i played everquest 2 to forget heheh) a basketball, a soccer, a football...whatever you fancy. do not look at your nursing books yet. the more you read, the more you see your wrong answers thus adding insult to the anxiety you ar now having...be positive. whatever the outcome is, accept it... with these, you will see, days already gone, result is already in your mail. enjoy while waiting like i did... i didnt pass so to speak, my husband got frustrated and so do i, but passing is always by chance. if not now, there will always be next time. and dont mind what negative stuff other people might say, be happy... if u pass, well done! thank god congratulate your self, have a lil gathering. if not, still thank god and prepare for the next test. I'm not sure you can estimate time with the CA BRN on anything. I was the first to send in my licensing application in my class, and I'm still waiting on paperwork for my IP and NCLEX test date ... while people who sent it in a lot later than I did have already gotten the paperwork.

I finally called and was told I'll get it in two more weeks ... huh? I guess I sent it in too early and they misplaced it or something.

I'm sure it's not much consolation while you're waiting but ... there doesn't seem to be consistent time tables with the CA BRN. I wouldn't be discouraged by any delays at all because ... like most government bureaucracies, they do take their time.

OMG I am now dying to know how you did!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Question...I am in IL and we test at Pearson Vue is that the same place you test? We were able to check our NCLEX-PN results online they were "unofficial" and would get the letter at a later date but at least we knew how we did after 48 hours....is it just different for the RN? or by state? Again your in my thoughts and I can't wait to hear how you did!

did u mean me?in anyways i think everything is the same except the 48 haurs....because everyone says that minimum 3days and average 10 days to one month in california..........soooooo still waiting

Yeah, sorry I should have specified....I saw somewhere else on this site that only about 1/2 of the states participate in the quick results option...that so sucks for the other 1/2.....

Cali does use the Pearson website, and you can get results in three days but, for example, that won't happen if they don't have my school records ... which will easily take until February (the administration at my school is very slow with records).

So I could take the test in January but still wait a month for results. But if I take it in February then I have a better chance of knowing within a few days.

And, knowing the BRN, there are probably other things that could cause delays also.

While it is probably faster ... it's still unpredictable with the Cali BRN.

I just want to give a word of encouragement to all the students that are preparing to take the NCLEX-PN. Focus on the question not the complexity of the question. Make sure you know what the question is asking. My computer stopped at the minimum 85 questions for the NCLEX-PN. I was sure I failed. I just wanted to die. My questions never got hard. That stayed really simple at least to me. I had two select all that apply and two fill in the blank questions. When my computer shut off that was the worse feeling I have ever had in my life and I have had some bad things happen to me and nothing compared to this. I was sick to the stomach. I put my head down and then I raised my head back up to take the survey my eyes were teary and I could bearly read the questions. Most of the questions I skipped. I could bearly drive home. All this is said because you can not predict the outcome of your results. Try to relax and pass time with family until your results are available. For 48 hours I lived in front of my computer and I dialed the quick results over a 100 times. If they charged for each time you called just to see if your results were available I would not have a phone right now. I got away with only paying $10. My fingertips were numb and I was sleep deprived and irritable. Now it is all over and on to my next task becoming an RN. :lol2: I know that it is hard but I just wish I would of focused on other aspects of my life. So, for all you test takers do not give up and Good Luck!
