How do WGU vertify your employment??
- 0Feb 4 by CARAMELOHi,
I'm interested to enroll to WGU, I have read most of the post, it seems like WGU require as a working RN at the time of enrollment however, how do they check it, do they call to my employer to find out or something else?

I did speak to one of the counselor over the phone, she basically told me the same thing, I need to sent in a resume, so I ask her, how do u verify, she said she will call to my employer, I'm like... If I don't provide any phone number, how do you know I still work there. They told me I had to send in my resume. I'm not really sure how that proves anything as I could just put whatever I wanted on it but whatever. I would assume they must contact your employer but who knows.

There is at least one project that will require a manager or equivalent signature in the program. I don't think anyone here would tell you to lie to the enrollment counselors, although I don't really know how deeply they would check. Maybe there is another BSN program that doesn't require employment that might better suit your needs?
