Hi everyone. sounds like exactly what I need, but my life right now, is not such that I can seek admission/do the work required or even afford it, as inexpensive as it is. I enjoy learning, but right now I am working two jobs and have had three family members move in with me and my husband and two kids, so school is out of the question right now. I would however like to get a head start on learning things that I do not know, so that when I CAN attend, I will not feel overwhelmed. Are there any outside sources that anyone could recommend that I could study now? Such as texts, websites, etc. I already have downloaded quizlet onto my phone and have been studying some terminology from different classes for WGU but would appreciate anything else that could help. I have been a nurse for 14 years, so have quite a bit of knowledge, but definitely know I need lots more. Thank you in advance for any help!

Most of the courses in 's RN-to-BSN program are typically not the types that one can get a head start on or study in advance.

Since everyone who enrolls in the program must take nutrition and community health, I would brush up on those topics.

I agree with TheCommuter you really can't study ahead for any of the classes. What you could do though is see if there are any gen ed classes that you would need and start working on knocking those out. Maybe take a few CLEP tests for any humanities, history, psychology, growth & development etc if you need any of those courses. At least you'd be working on something while you wait to get in a position to start.

Thank you both for the replies. I will work on those two topics and look at the gen Ed that I haven't gotten yet.
