What is the average cost of the MSN program if one already has a BSN? I'd like to get it done in a year to 15 months.

Can someone give me a breakdown of what the program is like? Do you have to prepare a capstone (how many pages) and or a defense and interview in front of professors?

Cost is $3250 per 6 month term. Projected program length is 4 terms but MANY students complete it in 3 or even 2. $0 for books (all included as ebooks)

Apologies Tokmom, my breakdown for one semester was essentially a few hundred under $4000 for a six month term. I am halfway through but for the past month I've been struggling with the assessment class that was just revamped before I started it. Otherwise it's been a great experience and I am very fortunate and happy I chose .

I'm still hoping to get done in just under a year or two terms. If not I'm gonna have to take out a loan for my third semester but hopefully I will only need another month or two to finish as I understand that WGU prorates your time spent and will refund money back if you finish early in a semester. Fingers crossed!

And here's a heads up I'd wished I'd known, WGU offers many scholarships but as far as I've seen one needs to apply for them either prior to starting or within a month of starting class. Good luck!
