I will graduate this May. I really, really want to work at Children's (although with the poor job market, I'm willing to work somewhere else) and just have some questions about the hiring process. I went to an open house and assumed it was a tour of the hospital, however, I did an onsite interview. I don't think it went bad- I just wasn't expecting it. I haven't heard anything since so I am assuming I most likely didn't get it- although I don't know if they are waiting to fill the positions.
Anyways, I just wanted to talk with someone who knows about the hiring process there- I applied online to another position but am afraid my application just went into a big pile. Do I just wait for them to call, or do I call them? Just wondering if any current employees would be willing to answer some questions or offer advice. I have never had a "real" job before so I am a bit clueless w/ the whole process in general.
