reciprocity from cali to virginia

hi fellow nurses out there. im a nurse in california and i want to apply for reciprocity here in VA is there any way that I can do it online or i have to do it the long way like doing an application form, snail mail and some stuff like that..:confused::confused::confused:

you will have to contact the BON in Virginia. They probably have an online site with downloadable forms, etc. Good luck in your new state!

Good you are going from CA to Virginia.

CA is one of the states that is easier to transfer to somewhere else rather than the other way around...

What license do you have?

CA isn't a compact state but I have heard also that it is one of the easier ones if you have an unrestricted license.

Go down to the RN part- it has links to applying online (who is eligible to do so) and printing out forms (if that's what you need to do).
