Easiest and Toughest Classes In UT Arlington RN-BSN Program

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

I am looking to double up on nursing classes while in the RN-BSN program. I realize that it might be wiser to take certain classes alone and not double up. This thread is for everyone enrolled in the RN-BSN program to discuss which classes are the most/least difficult.

Im completing my pre-reqs to apply for the spring 17 session.. Would anyone be so helpful to let me know if my current schedule is too much, or if these classes are a heavy workload- Any info would help on how to make my schedule, or if I should take nay courses at a C.C. I have quite a few pre-reqs to complete so, I am trying to do as many as possible, per semester. THANKS!

sorry no other then to read this thread. maybe do a search for capstone on this forum.

joi, this is a thread mainly about the RN to BSN bridge program. I am not sure about the prereqs that you asked about. I would suggest you ask somewhere else on the forums, just because I don't think alot of people are going to be reading this that aren't already RNs. I maybe wrong though, good luck.

Hardest to Easiest Nursing:

:singing: I would rate my classes this way

Overall pretty easy made my classes for my first bachelor's in business administration in comparison my business classes were way harder.

Thanks Pledger55 for your list of classes from hardest to easiest! I will be applying to UTA's RN to BSN program soon and anticipate to start this August so your list is very helpful to me! I'm wondering if any of you on here who have complete or will be completing the RN-BSN have also considered doing to the RN-MSN at UTA?

You bet pearlyapple. You can always apply for the RN to MSN if you dont think the quality of the program is enough for you. You can always just finish the BSN route (once in the RN to MSN) and find another school that provides more value.

Thanks for the list!!

I'm starting in August and curious about the workload. I will be working 36hrs a week , mother, wife, life etc.

I've heard good things so far about The RN -BSN program. I'm thinking I will start with 1 class at a time..

Hi Scarlet fire I just enrolled in UTA and i am a lil nervous but i m glad i found this forum you have some great questions. BTW did you take statistics with them online?

hi marchmadness i to am starting this August i work full time nights and i am doing the program with 3 other girls i hope to get my education plan soon.

How was the research class? I have research, capstone and math left. How many papers did you have to write for research?

Hi stephrnc, have you received your education plan yet? I am starting the program on Monday and will be taking the professional nursing class. I haven't received my education plan yet but was advised to start as a provisional student until they evaluate my transcripts. Is that what you are doing too?
