Anyone ever bring along a friend to travel with them who was not a nurse? I have a friend that wants to join me and just get temporary jobs while go to each city. She would want her own bedroom. Im wondering if the agencies would charge much in the difference of the cost between and one and two bedroom. I should probably just ask the agencies, but does anyone have any advice?

thanks

The agency will give you a quote on the cost of an apartment above your housing stipend. I've never done it, but I'm told by friends (and some that travel with kids) that it is only a couple hundred more a month. Not sure how accurate that is, since it's hear-say. The company will charge it to you, or take it out of your check - however you work it out, so be sure that your friend is reliable and will pay rent!!!! The agency should be able to give you a quote when you chat with them about an assignment.

Good luck!!

The company will charge you the difference between the cost of the one bedroom unit and the two bedroom model. They will also charge you for the rental cost of the extra bedroom set. It really isn't a huge amount - up to a couple hundred a month divided up over your paychecks. I've requested a two bedroom unit several times when I've been in places where I knew I would have a lot of (or extended visits from) family and friends - like right now when I'm in Vegas.

Heck you let them grab the couch !! lol....We have seen it vary from $75 to $300 for a 2 bedroom upgrade.

thanks for the info!
