They sent my file out twice...

I have been shopping around with different agencies looking for a new travel assignment and possible switch from my current agency.

I'm curious what happens if you 2 recuirters send out your file to the same facility? Im afraid this may have just happened to me. Opps

Alot of travelers vow never to be submitted to the same hospital by different companies. I can see their reasoning.

However, I was submitted twice to a hospital last year. The hospital called me after a submittal from a company that I didn't even tell to submit me...........grrrrrrrrrrr, and that company's pay rate was lower.

I was offered the position at the facility, and then asked the NM if I could go with a different company ( and explained the situation to her.) The NM said, that she didn't care what company I went with, as long as I came to her facility.

In the end I went with the company that I told to submit me.

It makes you look "desperate" to some employers.

It is bad form to send from two companies to the same assignment.

Bad... really bad... some facilities will cancel you for that reason alone. Some do not care.

I always tell an Agency, in writing, they do not have permission to submit me without my written permission. Also, the contract is not valid until I have received my written copy.

Good luck to you and let us know how you make out.

Aureous did that to me. Sent my profile out to several hospitals without my permission. The hospitals told me I had to go with Aureous and of course they were up ten dollars an hour less then other companies. I was so ****** off had to decline the assignment and I wanted to go there.
