Hey guys, just wondering what has been the best place you have ever traveled to? I want to go everywhere and anywhere! San Diego, San fran, Chicago, Miami, Houston and many other places!! Any specific places you would recommend?

I'm in Los Angeles now and I love it! Minneapois would come in a close second but I'd only recommend you visit during the Spring/Summer months.

I'm interested in hearing answers as well. I'm really thinking about California right now. Or even Oregon. I live in the midwest and have all my life.

I have my heart set on California as well. I have lived in New England all my life and im ready for a change. I have been to L.A. and i did enjoy it...i wonder how living there would be like.

I've never been to LA. I've been to San Diego and loved it! Hopefully we will get some more input on travelers who have worked in Cali. :)

Specializes in They know this too!.

Phoenix and NYC.

But, now I am permanently in NYC and hopefully when I am ready to buy a home I am going back to AZ.

I am currently working in Orange County. I love it here! I extended my contract and really am not looking forward to leaving. But for now I want to see more of the country. There's a very good chance I'll be coming back here down the road.

SoCal is nice. There's so much to do and see. The jobs are plentiful in CA too.

I'm from Ventura, CA (3 hours away from San Diego). San Diego is a really nice place. I'm currently in the works of getting my first assignment as a travel nurse, and have been repeatedly advised to work within CA for my first assignment while I apply to other state licensing - my given choices right now are San Diego and San Francisco. I prefer SF but the most openings are at Rady Children's right now for newbies; to start this late July. How has travel nursing been like for you so far? My goal was to get out of CA (but stay away from really hot places; I'm used to living in 65-75 degree weather yr round). GOod luck and enjoy CA! :)

How's that ratio in dallas? I'm heading to NYC next month and expecting the ratios to be somewhere around 5-6. Nurses do over there somehow, that's what I keep telling myself at least.
