I have just accepted an assignment in Los Gatos, CA to begin in August. This is my very first travel assignment and I am very excited! Is there anyone that has ever been there or can share a few tips with me. Thanks:rolleyes:

I don't know anything about this place...but I did look it up on the net...and looks wonderful!! I hope you enjoy it...and have a great time there! Congrats on your first assignment...:cool:

You go girl! Enjoy the assignment in CA! I love CA! I wanna go there again soooooooo much! I did a travel assignment there once, and worked in other cities there as staff and agency both. That place is like "heaven" on earth to me. Absolutely adore CA!

Where is Los Gatos though? I'm not familiar with that name at all? :)

Los Gatos is right outside San Jose--It is beautiful here!!

Ahhhhhhh yes.....I know the area now! My brother lived in San Jose for a very long time, and loved it! He's now in Nevada with dreams of returning to San Jose! He misses the place a lot. Thanks for shaking my memory. You will have a wonderful time! Don't work more than your contract so you can enjoy the city and its surroundings as much as possible! At your age, BANK that money so you can be set by the time you reach my age of 50. I wish I had done that when I was traveling as a nurse. Now.....I live in humble authority to my hubby. :chuckle.....until next year when I start receiving my own paychecks again. :kiss
