I know alot of travel nurses that travel with the husband. I dont know any that husbands actually have jobs. Its great for the husband. I guess

My husband works from home.

My husband works from home as well. I've heard of spouses going into the hospitality industry, bartenders, waiters etc. just to get them out of the house. It's flexible, just like travel nursing.

I'm the hubby and love it. Were on our 3rd year of traveling. We came home to Oregon for awhile to take care of some business but are hitting the road again in 3 weeks. We snowbird it during the winter months and go to AZ. Havn't been to the same place twice yet. We like that part. I'm retired Air Force. I spend my time taking care of our motorhome, most cooking, laundry, shopping etc. I do all the driving, travel plans, etc. In my spare time I do woodwork as a hobby and sell what I make for a little extra income. I'm currently waiting on approval from the VA to attend a RV repair technician school in FL. If that pans out we will take an assignment to FL. I'm fairly knowledgeable in RV maintenance but want the certification from the school so I can start a mobile RV repair business during our travels and whenever we go home. It's a good business to get into that I can do part-time wherever we go. Then she can take more time between assignments and we can spend more time enjoying the RV aspect of our travels and not have to worry about having to go directly from one assignment to another. We enjoy each other and our travels. This will make it even better. We love our motorhome and Travel Nursing as it allows us to go and do what we want, when we want. She loves her job and this way we can do it as long as we want until we decide to just fulltime RV and fall back on the RV repair business. She could still be a travel nurse part-time then too. Thats our situation in a nutshell. JJ
