Yes...I know them. A recruiter called me desperate for someone to fill in for two weeks only because the traveler had a family emergency. Well, I drove to the area, found out the house I was supposed to be in was already taken by someone else!!!! (And they were not even from the same agency.) Each agency claimed it was the other one's problem. I went to a bed and breakfast and the owner called my recruiter and said I was not driving any further and he had to cover my overnight stay there, which he did.

The next morning I got up and drove to the hospital. The manager stated the job was for more than 2 weeks and did not want to take the time to "orient me" if I was not able to stay longer.

Long story short, I drove home and called my recruiter. I had lost 3 shifts with my normal job (my manager gave me the time off to do the assignment) and he said they would reimburse me for the shifts, but some things needed to be worked out by the company. I never received anything.

Unfortunately, there was not a formal contract, so I couldn't pursue it further.

Others may have a better experience, but I would not use them again.

I've been working with them for the past year. They are growing really fast. They made a lot of payroll mistakes when I first started with them. I guess they were fairly new. My recruiter was great though so I stuck with her. Followed her from her previous company. I'm now on my 6 assignment with them and I am amazed at how well they treat me. Also it seems like they pay really well (not just in California). I like to travel to Oh and Maine a lot and they carry a lot of needs there. I also think that there is at least one nurse with a bad experience from every agency and you shouldn't write them off because of one nurse's complaint. I have now referred about 10 people to my recruiter. I think the recruiters are what make or break a company and I love mine. I have worked with 5 other companies before and always ended up leaving because the recruiter lied to me or didn't make me a priority. I don't put up with agencies that have the "take it or leave it" attitude. I will leave it everytime. Good luck

They have contacted me several times by phone regarding travel assignments even though I have not requested any info or even put out fealers for a new job. I am assuming that they are buying names and numbers from the BNE, in other words going in and doing a general search for say all critical care nurses. They refused to tell me where they got my name and phone number or even the fact that I am a critical care RN. I would be very cautious. It all sounds pretty shady to me.

They lied to me about the details of an assignment. They tried to put me up in a motel that had drunks hanging out in the parking lot and fights. They did not pay my bed and breakfast provider when I found alternative housing (though the recruiter promised me they would.)
They did not pay me for orientation at the hospital. I did not get a check at all, even for my 3 days on the floor after orientation.
I was out of state and broke. I had money wired to me and went home.
Enough said...be warned
