I have been a med/surg float traveler for 14 months between the two places I have been. I would like to be (more) unit-specific. If I am NOT interviewing for float positions, is it fair/realistic/??? to alter my contract to state that I will only float once a week or only for a 12-hour shift at a time (versus 4 hours on one unit and 8 on another)? Just curious...
