Hi just wanted to start new thread of anyone applying for the ADN May-July for admission into spring 2015 at Weathford College Main Campus. Lets support each other and help each other with any questions or concerns. How many points are y'all applying with? Does anyone know how many students they accept? When will we notified of acceptance or rejection?

I am taking it at the weatherford campus (With Ibe). I was VERY close to taking it WCWC but I am SO much closer to the Wford campus (I am about 15 miles west of Wford) and with dropping kids at school and still being able to make it to class...that was going to be tricky if I took the WCWC class. (If I remember right it was a morning session). Now that I hear that it's being taught by a MD I am kinda sad I didn't! My A&P I professor was a MD who was no longer practicing and the information she could give....and the stories she told made took that class to a whole different level for me.

And thanks :D I am glad I sound like the kinda classmate you'd like to have...I try to be and could say the same for you. Hopefully in a few short weeks we will be getting that good news

and yep....I meant 2015...I can be a little scatter brained at times lol

Haha! Well, thank you! I concur: hopefully, in a few short weeks, we'll be getting those packets (and NOT letters :nailbiting:)!

Don't sweat not coming to WCWC for Nutrition. I've had a number of classmates who've taken Ibe, and they swear he's a genius. It sounds like you'll be in very good hands. On a side note, having an MD for A&P sounds ridiculously awesome --that is someone's brain I would like to pick! I'm jealous!! Especially because it's someone who is/was in the field we're wanting to go in (or at least pretty much as close as it gets) teaching something intrinsic to said field. Also, I totally don't blame you on the convenience thing; I'm the same way! Sometimes, it's the most important thing... and being someone who takes coffee with me to class -even to afternoon classes- I totally wouldn't want to wake up and take the exact same class further away (unless the prof was just dreadful at the nearby campus) LOL!

I too am quite scattered, so I totally get the typo. A part of me (though I've been waiting with bated breath for the next opportunity to apply to the RN program) is shocked that it's already almost 2015 to begin with! Hopefully, everything works out and we're all able to get into our top choice!

Well, another week down. It'll be time before me know it!!

Most likely 2nd or 3rd week of september. For the fall it was 7 weeks after the deadline (because spring break was in that period).....I think the website says 6 weeks

Don't stress too much....wise county cut off (before they gave spots to alternates) was 32 last semester....no matter what the cut off is there will be alternates that get in because people choose other programs or whatever.

I also have applied for the Spring start at WC! I ended up with 37 points and pray that's enough! I have been applying to nursing schools for awhile now and no luck yet. Good luck to everyone on here and hopefully we will meet this spring :)

37 points is a good bet! for the fall at the Wford campus the cut off was 34 (and I think alternates with lower points were accepted too not sure how many though).

The wait lasts FOREVER (or it feels like it anyway hahaha) we are about halfway there!! 3 ish more weeks and we should know!

ahhh 3 weeks into the wait......Halfway there....I'm kind of glad that classes are about to start again....at least I will have something to keep me busy and pass the time lol...maybe the time will pass faster lol
