Hey All!! I decided to make a thread for spring 2012. I was jumping aroung to the fall 2011 applicants and fall 2012 applicants. So I made one for the coming up app period to avoid alot of double posting.

I have heard from some of the spring 2012 applicants but am surprised I have not encountered more.

Where are yall hiding? :)

I had 18. I wasn't sure that was enough but with all I have read about the tough Teas V I guess it was. I am still in shock that I got the letter. I want to thank everyone on this thread and on Allnurses. Reading the posts and being able to "meet" with others going through what I am going through makes this whole thing bearable.

I was sure you would get in, I had set my goal for 19 thinking that was a definate, but I didn't do as well as i wanted on the TEAS. I will see more of the posts and scores that got in/on alternate list and that will give me a better idea of where I stand.

I was bummed about my scores on the Teas also. I really thought I would ace it. That test made me feel stupid or inadequate in some way. Being on the alternate list is good. I am sure that we will have movement once TCC sends out their letters. I think they send those out near December so that will be a long wait. I was on the alternate list before for another program and bit my nails right up until the classes started. They were upfront with me though about where I was on the alternate list so I was able to plan my semester classes before all of the ones I needed were snatched up. They didn't tell me until the orientation though. But I ended up in this class so it all worked out in the end. I am proud and happy to be apart of WC and their program. Did you know that every single graduate in the last class passed the NCLEX? That is impressive!

I got my letter today also!!!

I GOT ACCEPTED!!!

Omg! I am so excited! Congrats also Jenn!!! And simrc - alternative list is really good for spring. I'm sure you will get accepted and if not, go are GOLDEN for fall!! I am also applying at TCC because I live in Arlington. Hopefully I will get in and that will open up a spot!!

Woohoo Student! It will be fun to finally get to meet you all at orientation. We can match user names with faces! I am so excited that I already booked my appointment to get fingerprinted. I am still in shock that we already know. Anyone heard from Manow? I am sure she got in, she had like 21 points.

Hey all!! I've been at work all day and have been waiting to post, I just got home and I'M IN!! I had no idea how the feelings would impact me. I was crying at work randomly all night. I messed up two tables orders and one of them were my regular guests. Thankfully they didn't even mind; they said they could see me shaking as I took their order. LOL

Congrats also Student213!!! I'm like you in that I live in Arlington and TCC is my second choice. TWU is my first and WC my third only because the distance. If TCC doesn't go our way we should carpool together!! The drive just really worries me. I guess it could be worse though. The RN I work with at the clinic lived in Fort Worth and drove to Gainesville!! YIKES! But he said you do what you have to do to get it done. I couldn't agree more.

Simcr I know that TCC told an applicant their number on the waiting list. Not sure though about WC. I couldn't imagine that they wouldn't. I know that if I get TCC or TWU that's one more freed spot! Good luck and many positive thoughts your way.

Congrats to all and thanks for chatting on here with me. I was talking to my fiance and was referencing my friends on allnurses and he laughed. "Honey, you haven't even met them!" BUt I feel like I have great friends here. Thanks for all the support and comraderie.

How does your scoring look on the other schools? I am happy for you, you did a great job and rocked the points for WC.

I asked sheri who used to be an alternate for WC, she said they will not tell you where you are on the list, so that kinda stinks. Maybe more people will come on here with acceptance and i can figure out points.

Did any of you take A&P1 at TCC south in the spring semester? I know I had a couple of Arlington buddies in that class and I was wondering if they could be some of you guys. Wouldn't that be weird? I cannot wait to meet you guys at orientation. I feel like we have been through a lot here. I would like to meet the folks that applied last year too. I read that thread constantly. It helped soo much.

Congrats Kay! I am happy to hear from others out there that have applied. I figured they would be coming out now that the letters are out. It still doesn't feel real.
