I applied o UTMB and still anxiously waiting for a letter for intervciew. has anyone heard anything about the fall 09 application. Has anyone gotten interviews yet?

The last time I called-weeks ago. The lady over the phone told me that it would be quite a long time before interview letters start going out. Though it is frustrating to wait, I understand that UTMB is trying to get back on it's feet. Keep your fingers crossed.

Updated FYI, the application process for the generic BSN program won't begin until late April.

Yah i heard from a friend who went to the utmb info session that they won't start calling people for interviews till may.

Hey guys! I applied for Fall as well. What are you GPA's? Also, do you guys know what the applicant pool is for Fall? I heard summer was around 300 and they accepted 60.

I am just starting my pre-reqs (I have a bachelors of science) for the nursing program. Is it easier to get into the fall versus the spring or summer?

I would think it would be easier to apply to the Bacc2 Program, but I do not have a Bachelors degree so I am not too sure.

I have not heard anything as of today, however, LuckyNurse28 I did follow another thread that showed you were accepted for Summer! Congratulations!

I know! I saw that too! When did you get your interview? This is a great website. I saw y'all help each other out a lot on the last forum. This one is a bit empty...lol...

lol yeahh, I am not sure why people are not responding on this one. However, I do know that some of the people that replied here have got accepted elsewhere and decided to go there since UTMB is kind of slow after the hurricane.

Anyhow, I did not get an interview. They just called me and told me that I was accepted and sent me all the information. It was hectic but hey, I'm not complaining! lol

Now comes the hard part, making it through nursing school! (eek!)
