Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

I wonder what kind of summer session it will be for patho ... hopefully it is not a 6 week course!

I have a question about Patho. I also applied to Ut Arlington and one of their pre-reqs is Patho. Do you think it will transfer or will we all have to take it together? And you guys who made it to the open house are BRAVE! I didn't even want to think about driving all the way to the Med Center in that downpour!:uhoh3:

And one more question. Do you guys have any good suggestions on where to go for CPR certification? I live in the Spring-Klein area if that helps narrow down choices. Thanks!

I have heard some people say that Patho could transfer in if it was an upper division course from an accredited university. I think they mentioned UTA specifically so I think so. But I am no expert. I would contact one of the advisors and ask them before you spend your time and money on it!

On my way to open house, lightening struck two light poles on HWY 59 and literally blew them up and the pieces of the lights and sparks littered the highway. It was unlike anything I had ever seen! I figured I was already halfway so I better keep going!

I used the American Heart Association website to schedule all of mine. You can look up the course that you need then type in your address/zip code and it will let you know the closest locations. When I took my class it was at one of the instructors houses like 2 miles away from where I live. Super easy!

Wow! I'm so glad that you made it there safely! Hopefully the weather will be more cooperative on the 23rd for the UT Health info session. And I've already taken Patho for UTA (made an A:yeah:) so I'll see what they say.

I just asked my friend, who is now about to graduate from TWU. She took it the first summer too, and she said she remembers it being long, she said like maybe ten weeks...so that's a relief! And she was happy she did because it was a little easier to adjust for the first semester.

Scrubb: That is a relief to hear! I was hoping it would be long. My only concern is that I planned a vacation (my last of course for the next two years) for a week in July so I don't know if I will be able to miss a whole week of class! Hopefully I will be able to do both!

Ok I'm worried, my last transcript is STILL not showing up! Please let me know if anyone else is still having this problem!

I had trouble with my transcript too. I had to mail them out to TWU myself because my undergrad schools were not doing what they were supposed to. Does anybody know about interviews? Like when those go out? Im so impatient!! :(
