TWU Fall 2013 Applicants

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hello everyone!

I am starting this thread... a year early. That is how much I want to be accepted into the Fall 2013 BSN program at TWU in Dallas. I am taking my TEAS on August 30 so that if I have to, I can take it again the following application period (after September 1). I have finished my prerequisites (last week of Summer AP2 right now, hurray).

I hope other people see this forum so that we can all talk and encourage each other about getting into the program (and be stressed out together)! Seriously hoping that this next year flies by! I Look forward to get to know other hopefuls!

Oh ok, that's good to know. Yes I applied for every single one I could, haha.

Random question! Does any of you all have any children? I'm a single mother and hopefully I can have someone I can relate to!

Not a single mom, but I have two kids of my own (2 and almost 5) and a stepchild (just turned 18).

My commute to the Houston campus would be about 30 minutes but I plan to use the park & ride and rail to the medicsl center. I'll be living at home with my mom.

We can still relate! It's going to be a hectic first semester just because of the adjustment! My son is 5 he will be in first grade in the fall.

I will be moving to Houston if I get in. I would like a roommate that is also in the program (if possible)

Hi all! I have been keeping up with this forum for a bit now lol and thought I should say hello! Only a few weeks left! I am nervous! I am a single mom of 2 as well :) this should be interesting!

I am married have a 14 month old and will relocate to near Dallas if accepted. Right now im in Corinth so the drive is about 45 min

I'm also married and have 2 kids. I live 10 minutes away from Houston campus. But I may move out of Houston this winter, so I will have to commute if I get accepted.

Has anyone gotten any acceptance stats?

I live in Carrollton with my wife and our 3 puppies!!! As long as I get in, I'm debating driving or using the DART Rail. There are a couple stations pretty close to where we live. Driving would probably take less time but the rail would be less stressful.

And the rail could help save money for gas.
