Hello Guys!!I just wanted to create a new thread for the 2013 Texas tech BSN program! I will be applying this December (El Paso) campus. Is anyone else?

I am so excited and hopefully in the near future I can meet you all!

I am so nervous....but I am sure most of you all are feeling the same.

As I stated before, I strongly believe the video essay was a way to weed out quality students based on physical appearance and basically external factors that have nothing to do with anything but the fact tht they would prefer students LOOK like the majority of others at the campus. We had an essays on NursingCas so why this show and tell video was thrown at us last minute was no surprise to me. It's a dissapointment. It's really no different than the job applications tht ask u to check ur racial background for "govt information." Glad Texas tech was just a rebound choice for me.

i dont think thats what was going on here. each year more and more people apply to texas techs nursing school so theyve had to change their admission process. lots of schools have an interview process, texas tech is just getting on board with that.

Nothing yet from El Paso I called ans was told that the e-mails will go out at the end of the month .

I got my acceptance letter for the Abilene campus nursing program today. Did anyone else on this board here back from the Abilene campus? I don't know anyone that's going to Abilene yet. :/ So if you need a roommate, let me know! Also, I wonder when the e-mails with orientation details will be going out. So excited to meet everyone!

I also got my acceptance yesterday from the Lubbock campus. Been following this thread for a while. This is how I found out about the videos and looked in my spam folder and there it was. So got my acceptance letter yesterday. Paid the fee and set appointment for finger scan. So excited I did not have to pass the Teas to get in. Can't wait to meet all you. Didn't think I'd get in on the first try.

Hi everyone! I just found this forum! I got accepted to Lubbock campus yesterday! I'm from Houston, but I live in Austin at UT, so if I go to Lubbock, I won't know many people! Hello possible new friends :DDD
