Scott and White Internship - January 2015

Hey allnurses, just wondering if anyone has applied to the Scott and White internships starting in January/February of 2015. Is anyone planning on attending the meet and greet this upcoming Friday?

I am from NJ, I'm glad I'll be in good in company :).

I actually applied for Hillcrest in Waco. And they called me asking if I was still interested/interview. I tried calling back, left a message but no return phone call so I'll try to call tomorrow morning again. But before I applied I ask about relocation and someone emailed me saying that they do for PT/FT offers. Does anyone know if this is true ? I was quite surprised but don't know how true that is

I'm assuming you mean relocation assistance? If so, the answer is yes.

What's the starting pay for GN positions?

During the interview process they said it was 18 while a GN and intern, 20 when an RN and intern, and 24.90 when out of internship. However, I spoke to someone in HR and they said that starting January 2015 everyone will be at 24.90, regardless of status. So we will see I guess. The HR person said to expect a written offer in 2-3 weeks.

Thanks for the information. I'm gonna go ahead and interview down there and see my options. And see what their all about because HCA offered me a position but I don't like some of the things that go into it. So it doesn't hurt to interview at other places.

I have an interview for surgical ICU and 4N I think at Hillcrest. How is the interview process?
