Texas Woman's University (TWU). The nursing campus is in Dallas, and not that far from Carollton. But I think most of the classes are online anyway, which would be muy convienent.

Specializes in SICU/CVICU.

There's TWU, UTA, Baylor, TCU, and a ton of online universities. I agree, TWU is probably the closest. It's not a BSN though. It's a BS with a major in nursing (not sure if that matters to you).

Specializes in ICU, PICC Nurse, Nursing Supervisor.

most of the rn-bsn programs are online now these days..except i think uta who still does the wednesday deal. but if you look into the ut tele-campus it is a 5 course program (provided that all your other pre-junk is done)...i think i am headed to utmb (galveston) cause that is where i want to do my np...good luck to you....

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

There's also Tarleton State University, located about 75 miles west of Dallas. They offer an RN-to-BSN program that takes 3 semesters if you don't mind the commute. In addition, this school's nursing program is less competitive than others located closer to the Metroplex.
