  1. i dont think ive really made use of my fundamentals book...for 2nd semester you would need the med surg book which will be used again last semester...They provided me with enough information that i guess i didnt have to go to my fundamentals book...now for pharm, i bought the book and didnt even open it..she will have everything you need to know...also some others have said the study guide book for the fundamentals and med surg had helped them throughout also. good luck!
  2. not necessarily, but you would have to access the need for ventilation if inadequate... but you would always like to have resuscitation equipement nearby. want to make sure they have adequate oxygenation per o2 sats n vitals, maybe hob up,
  3. hm thinking off top of my head, freq assessment on vitals esp resp function & make sure u have emergency equipment nearby
  4. i am currently in nac 1 now. nac 1 makes basic look like a piece of cake! lols..u really do hit the ground running, and dont stop! but i think that with basics, you are transitioning from regular college courses that doesnt entail you to study everyday. so its a big adjustment. make sure you study, dont slack off, and stay on top of everything. in basics, most instructors will let you print out med cards or just read it out to them. but in nac 1, you will expected to know all about the med. also they you will be starting clinicals like the 8th week every other week but in nac 1 you will start by the 2nd week throughout the whole semester..sucks bc just preparing for clinicals and doing care maps take up a good portion of time from studying..soo time management

  8. need help with limiting reagents. the book i have sucks and i cant seem to find any online websites that explain it pretty well. but i did try. can someone who understands it please let me know if this is right? q: if 20 grams of hydrogen reacts with 48 g of nitrogen to produce 15 grams of ammonia (nh3). (note: write a balanced equation before you proceed) 3h2 + n2 à 2nh3 what is the limiting reagent? nitrogen (see the workout below) moles of h2- 3.307 moles of n2 - 1.71 what is the theoretical yield of the product in moles and grams? 1.713 mol n2 x 28.020 g n2/1 mol n2 = 47.998 gn2 what is the percent yield? 30g/47.998 g =.625 x 100% = 62.50% any help is appreciated!!!
