U.S.A. Texas

Published

I am taking the HESI test on the 28th and I was wondering if anyone who has taken this test has any info they can share with me. Such as, how are the questions per subject, and how did you prepare for it. I have been studying for all subjects on the exam, but any other info would be great! thanx

Congratz.....don't worry the test is not that bad...Bring a watch no cells allowed need to be able to pace yourself.....The hesi review is excellent....Good Luck.....:nuke::nuke::nuke:

thanks, i take the test next month. the reason i asked because a lot of students took the test at hcc and they all complained about the hesi book they bought from the school.:nuke:

I just took the HESI at HCC. The study guide is plenty for the grammar and math sections. The reading was pretty easy, well I thought so. What I did for the reading was I did a lot of practice tests from THEA, COMPASS, SAT, and NET. The specific website I used was: http://www.testprepreview.com/nursing_practice.htm

As for the A&P section, the HESI study guide is NO help at all! I was very dissapointed. I think what saved me was that I used websites that had reviews... I thought the hesi study guide was wayyy to basic!! I was so right. I would def. focus on this section.

Im guessing you will be taking pharmacology in the fall?

hey thanks for the info i am going to go on the website you emailed me about. yes, i am hoping to pass the hesi so i could take pharmacology in the fall. so, how long have you been going to hcc and how old are you if you don't mind me asking:nuke:.

I'm 25 and doing pharm this summer. Hoping to start the ADN program in the fall or spring. I dont mind either one. ;) I applied for the Day program. Which one are you going for? Spring of '09?

i am 33 i am currently working in the medical field. i work for a doctor that is a neurologist and a psychiatrist. he is a good man. it is just the two of us. but my heart is to work for labor and delivery.:nuke::nuke:

I talked to the secretary on Monday and she told me there won't be another HESI exam until September.

yessss i no i talked to them tooo but do u no any other places that hav that test lik for this month or even in aug??????

Specializes in CDI Supervisor; Formerly NICU.

Is there an English language or grammar section to that test? I hope not, for your sake.

I know this is just the internet, and not school, but I wish people would recognize that this is a forum for a profession/for professionals, and make an attempt to appear professional.

Too many people are getting wrapped up in a "well, it's good enough!" internet mentality, and I have to wonder how they'll ever pass nursing school.

Hello everyone. I took hesi exit exam for HCC -RN program today and didn't pass with the required 880 . Any advice I want definitely pass the second time around.

Thanks
