That sounds great! So what did you do at orientation? Is there a certain color scrubs that we should wear? What kind of stuff are they going to let you do on the floor? I'm soooo excited!!

This excitement is really driving me crazy!!!! :D In the ICU we can wear any scrubs we want so I went hog wild buying scrubs!!! I've spent $200 so far even though my husband thinks I only spent $100 HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! :lol2: Did he really think I could get all of these cute scrubs for $100? It's his fault for believing me....just kidding but yeah, he really thinks I only spent half of what I did spend...it works best because I'm in charge of the finances.

LOL... I have alot of scrubs already, but I'm just looking for an excuse to buy more!!! My husband does our finances, so I guess I should have a good reason?

Basically day one was going over hospital policies and departments and benefits. Day two was check offs and they showed us how to use their glucometers. Day three involved learning how to use their comp system. I asked about our scrubs and was told any were okay however there has been some talk about switching to solids, so if you buy any new ones I would just buy solid colors. We cannot give medication of any kind including topical, hanging ivs, or admin oxygen. You can start ivs if you have already checked off on it in school but only insert it. You cannot hang or spike any iv fluid. Hope this helps.

What a productive week for you! Thank you for sharing! :D

Which campus do you attend?

Good thing I did get solid colors-- I had a feeling!
