Hello All!! I know it is VERY early to be thinking about this but the process to get in takes quite a long time. I wanted to make a thread to help us all get through the application process together, share problems, feelings, etc. :)

Everyone ready for October 15th. All the best y'all.

What's October 15th???

Those are about the same scores I made on HESI :( I am retaking October 11th and I always have a date for Dec 20 just in case. Very scary!!!

I am currently taking Eng 1302, Art 1301, history 1302, Govt 2306. Plan on taking tech writting or lit winter term, I will have very few classes left after that. Just hoping I pass HESI so I can apply in January :/

How is everyone is doing ???

I am also taking the HESI dec. 20! I also am signing up for a HESI for Nov. 18th at the North Lake college.....I WILL pass this test! lol

I was on the wrong thread. I applied for Elcentro, spring 2015 and we get our acceptances Oct 15th. Sorry for the confusion. My bad.

I took the HESI last month, I made 82 on Eng, 80 on A&P, 74 on math. Average total is 80 on a dot! I don't think I will retake it. I'm definitely applying with that score. I will have 29-30 point after the fall semester. So I'm ready to apply come Nov through January.

Good News! I was confused about the Art appreciate class 1301, coz it does count for one of the support classes, and it's still under the Bsn classes too. So I went up to the paramount building, luckily for me I met the Dean of nursing herself. She told me that, the Art app. Is the only class that counts as a double point. I just couldn't withold my happiness. So I showed her my HESI score, and she said "those are pretty good score, but hope you' ve gotten enough classes towards the Bsn? " and I told her I have 10 already.....and she said " oh good....!" So guys, be positive! Do not let anyone discourage you with what you have right now, just go ahead and apply if you feel like you got at least up to 27 points. You never know who re competing with. One last thing, get as many classes towards the Bsn as possible!

I know we can do this! Lets hopp into the game of applying/ waiting! :-) Goodluck everyone!

lunchy, those are very good scores! Proud of you and good luck. I am currently studying for HESI now(A&P to be specific). I will retake on the 12th. o nervous and scared I wont pass. I made a 62 on AP last time :( Its so hard to study for HESI when I am taking 12 credits right now!!!! I am hoping I pass this time so I can move on with my life hahahahh!!!!!

Good luck to all who have already applied and waiting on acceptance letters Oct 15th!!!

Oh thanks lnduke! I know you can do this. I may suggest for you to look into the remedial course on hesi. It tells you what you need to know. That really helped me too! I took it the first time, and I made 72 on A&P. So I studied those on the evolve site plus quizlet also helped me. Good luck on that! You can do this...

luchy, where can I locate the remedial course on hesi? I have been doing AP quizlets and they are helping. Also how do I study the evolve site? Sorry for the confusion, I am new to this stuff. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Oh ok! When you go on the Hesi site, click on your hesi result. By the left hand side of the screen, there's a little plus sign right beside the Hesi result, click on that, and it should be able to pull it out for you. Then you can click on review, and from there you should be able to work your way through it. It's available for all the test. for A&P, it gives you the materials to work on. For example, if you missed questions on bone, it gives you a review on all bones, and that way you might be able to figure it out fast. If you still can't find it, you can PM me so we can figure out a way to get you through it. Goodluck! :-)

Thank you, I really do appreciate your help.

How did you guys study for the math portion? Just work and re-work problems or what?

That is what I did kbrewer7. The math part of test is pretty much same as study book.
