Baylor New Graduate Internship January 2014

U.S.A. Texas

Published

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for those of us who have applied to the Baylor New Graduate Internship for January 2014. I'm graduating with my BSN in December. I applied to Women's and Infant's Services and Emergency. I thought it would be good for us to keep each other posted on what we hear from the hospital! Hopefully some of us will be working together soon!

Specializes in LTC, Agency, HHC.

I applied for NICU and Women's and Infant Services. Any idea on if/when we'll get called for interviews?

I also applied to women and infant services. Hope we start hearing back soon!

I just got the generic rejection letter from HR this morning. Hmmm....I wonder why. I have all the qualifications, plus NRP....oh well.

I got an email requesting a phone interview for Women's Services this morning! And also the generic rejection from Emergency... Not sure what put me over the edge for one and not the other...but grateful to hear something positive!

Hello~ is the application process over?? I will be graduating in December 2013 and need to start applying for residency program. Please could you share the hospital you have applied to and if possibly the links.

I have applied to St Luke NW and to CYfair med center. I will be applying to Methodist soon,.... any advice.

Thanks

Hey y'all, I did my phone interview for NICU... I think NICU... not really sure. I applied for NICU and peds and they said there won't be peds this time around. Sad face. Anyway, they told me I should hear back in about a week and well it's been over a week and it's stressing me out. Anyone heard anything.

Anybody hear anything from critical care? If so which hospital's did you pref? (dallas, garland, plano..etc) Its been a long time and I haven't heard anything positive or negative!

Does anyone have any advice about the phone interview? I just got selected for ED and it's in 2 days!

Hey !how did your phone interview gO?

Hey!

The phone interview was honestly a little awkward. She asked a few questions, and after each response there was a long uncomfortable pause and then she proceeded to ask another question. There was no back and forth/conversation. I don't know... I was told I would hear back in a week. Its been over 2 weeks and I got nothing. My app was update Sept. 26th when I had my phone interview but other than that I got nothin. I don't think I was rejected. I would know right?

But good luck! Just be able to answer the where you will be in 5 questions, a time with a difficult pt, patient advocate, and how you organize your clinical/studies (weird). haha.

good luck!

Thanks for the info!

Don't get discouraged. Someone in my class did the phone interview and hasn't heard anything yet, either. Maybe try calling them!?
