Anyone applying to Texas Tech's program, specifically the 2nd degree Austin program? What is your work experience? What prereqs have you taken/still need? Volunteering? GPA? Heard anything interesting lately about the program? Let's get to chatting!

hawarren: sorry for the delayed response, thanks for clearing that up! I was so confused. I am still waiting to hear back, I hope it's tomorrow!! I hope I can join you and 8 other awesome students on a new journey!! I have lived in Dallas for 4 years now, it is my home and I love it here. When I heard this was an option, I made it my preference (I knew it would be taking a risk since there are far less available spots), we'll see if I get in! :nailbiting:I hope so, I have been wanting this for a while, and finally applied, got into 3 other schools and had to deny acceptance to them, since they wanted a for sure "yes" or "no" and I just didn't know, and didn't want to take the spot of another student when my heart was with this program. I have a lot of experience, 83 on the TEAS and my science GPA is around a 3.6 I think. How did everyone's interviews go today??!

Just got an acceptance into the Dallas cohort! Anyone else hear yet?

Flyonn: nothing yet :/ I'm so anxious!! What were your stats?

I got in!!! I'm so excited, can't wait to meet you all! :)

yay!! congrats , did they call y'all or email? :) and do yall both already live in Dallas?

Hey, no phone call here. I got an email yesterday morning. I'm in Temple which is about 2 hrs south of Dallas and will most likely move half way between Dallas and Temple since my wife works at Scott and White. It looks like we don't have a face to face orientation which is a bit dissappointing cause It'd be nice to meet everyone. I think we should all plan a get together before classes start. Thoughts?

yea! for sure!

I just sent Elizabeth an email asking for everyones email address. Not sure if she can provide that or not, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

hawarren: I got an email, just set up my ttuhsc email acct I am trying to figure out how to get it connected to my phone lol. We should definitely meet up before orientation! I do live in Dallas, this was my preference. Good luck to everyone who was interviewed!

Did either of you happen to ask at which hospitals the clinicals are held?

Hey, so just in case anyone misunderstood, we do have a site specific visit in Dallas on Dec. 11. I thought Elizabeth's email had meant that the "virtual orientation" was in lieu of a face to face visit, but I was wrong.

Flying: I remember hearing they were partnering with Presbyterian
